Glenn was a musical kid from a musical family who started making up his own songs (more like "ditties") on the piano when he was six. He began playing gigs while in middle school and hasn't stopped since. Rog also had music in his blood but managed to steer clear of the restaurant and wedding reception circuit during his youth. They started writing songs together in high school and never stopped.
